Bickerstaff , Whatley, Ryan & Burkhalter Consulting Actuaries: Lisa C. Hough

Ms. Hough joined the Jackson, Mississippi office of Bickerstaff, Whatley, Ryan, and Burkhalter in July, 2004 with over seven years of property and casualty actuarial experience. As Actuarial Analyst, her role involves completing reserve analyses, rate analyses, and various other client projects.

Prior to joining Bickerstaff, Whatley, Ryan, and Burkhalter, Ms. Hough held the position as Senior Actuarial Analyst in the Corporate Actuarial Department at American International Group in New York, NY. From 1997 through 2004, she acquired a solid commercial lines background including workers’ compensation, general liability, and auto liability. Her profit center actuarial responsibilities at AIG consisted of reserving, profitability, pricing, as well as rate filings. She also coordinated the recruitment and hiring of actuaries for the department. Ms. Hough has passed the first two actuarial exams.

Ms. Hough is a Summa Cum Laude graduate (Dec. 1996) of Hofstra University (Hempstead, NY), with a major in mathematics and a minor in business. During college, she held an actuarial internship with Insurance Services Office.
